Hurray, It’s time to celebrate our Teachers and Staff of the Maurice Hawk Family, Virtual Staff Appreciation Week May 3 – 7, 2021 !
As always, your PTA is organizing the event virtually with activities to recognize our hard-working, dedicated & enthusiastic teachers and staff of Maurice Hawk who are with us even during this hard time by keeping our kids engaged and happy.
You can send monetary donations by any one of the following methods:
- You could Fill out the google form in the flyer and send your donations through paypal at mhawkpta@gmail.com by Wednesday May 5th.
- You can purchase gift cards at Hawk Memberhub at https://mhawk.memberhub.store/store by Wednesday May 5th.
- If you or the parents in your class are interested, you may go ahead and send a gift card to the teacher/staff either as a class or individually. We will leave it up to your individual discretion. Thank you for all your support! Please feel free to contact the staffappreciation@hawkpta.org for any questions or concerns.
Please do NOT send any monetary contributions or gift cards with your children to school. PTA members will NOT be collecting any donations or gift cards from school.
Below are the activities planned for Staff Appreciation Week: Mon, May 3rd : Record and send a thank you “Video Message” for your teacher Tues, May 4th : Create a thank you card at home, take a picture and send it to your teacher Wed, May 5th : SpecialTeachers/Staff Day – is the day to appreciate Special teachers and Staff. Email-ids of the Specials staff is attached in this email. Thur, May 6th : Wear your hawk gear Fri, May 7th : Superhero themed art/craft project for your teachers and staff
Please find attached the flyer indicating the virtual festivities with frequently asked questions(FAQ). Also attached is a coloring sheet that can be used for Art with Superhero themes if you have access to a printer. However, please feel free to let your kids get creative with the Superhero theme.
