Dear Educators, Administrators and Staff,
This year’s Teacher Appreciation Week is probably more well-deserved than ever before. With families now at the center of their child’s learning at home, the respect for what teachers do every day is at an all-time high.
Without a prior notice and an immediate need to redesign the school’s curriculum, there could be no one who could have done it better, than the way you did it in matter of HOURS. It was nothing short of a display of pure professionalism, selfless responsibility and dedication towards the children and the community. With your own family to attend to and feeling just as much stress as everyone else, it only makes you a HERO in not only the eyes of the children but also in the eyes of every family member near and far.
Your weekly riddles, jokes and special videos are much awaited and put a big Smile on our faces. The surprise videos from our special staff make us get down and boogie, learn a new language, play music and help us appreciate this new way of life.
You deserve our appreciation now more than ever before. With schools closed and most of the country in lock down due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this year proves a little more difficult to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. It’s not as easy to deliver tokens of appreciation or give you a warm “Aloha” hug but expect some tropical themed wishes from the kids this week!
Hopefully, this message breaks the physical barriers and will convey our appreciation, gratitude and “Mahalo”.
