Our December assembly, held on Monday Dec. 19, featured Joe Romano and Superhero Math. Joe is a favorite presenter that we have featured during our Literacy Festival. This new program that brings math to life using a superhero theme! From the website of Joe’s company, Ultimate School Shows:
Multiply your student’s excitement for math in a fraction of the time with the addition of this exciting new math assembly! Joe Romano cuts his arm in 3 equal pieces to teach the concept of thirds. Students have to guess how many prizes are in the magic gumball machine, a great lesson in estimation. Other segments include Order of Operation, Measurement, Probability and more! “Superhero Math!” is the mightiest math show on the planet!
We hope your child told you how much they enjoyed the assembly! This has been the second of our four assembly program the PTA put together this year, which features enrichment in math, science, and the arts.
