Join us for our second annual International Fair on April 21st to celebrate the cultural diversity of Maurice Hawk Elementary School! The event features multicultural dance and music performances, a family cultural “parade of nations”, and a reception featuring country projects prepared by students. The reception will have snacks and beverages for sale, with all event proceeds to benefit our Teacher Mini-Grants fund.
2 pm, registration and poster setup (cafeteria)
2:30 pm, songs and performances (auditorium)
3:00 pm, Parade of Nations (auditorium)
3:30-4:30 pm, reception (cafeteria)
You may sign up for the parade, a country poster, a snack donation, or a volunteer slot here. To order tickets to the event, please use the form that came home from school!
Family Cultural Parade
Please RSVP to the parade on your ticket order form, listing the country you wish to represent.

Remember, everyone in the family can participate by wearing clothing representing their culture and walking in the parade. We will call countries alphabetically, just like at the Olympics. When it’s your country’s turn, just walk on stage, and wave when your name is called!
