It’s that time – as a part of National PTA, we need to update our governing bylaws every three years. Nothing has changed since our last amendment, in 2017, which reduced our number of vice-presidents from 6 to 3, thereby reducing our quorum from 19 to 13. We need a quorum of members present at each meeting where a vote takes place, whether to approve the budget or vote for our officers! If you would like to read them:
The bylaws govern our election process, relationship to the state and national PTA, and how to run meetings and manage committees. We will be voting to approve our bylaws at our final general meeting of the year on May 23!
